Pterodaustro guinazui has a very elongated skull, up to 29 centimeters long. The portion in front of the eye sockets comprises 85 percent of skull length.
Synthetoceras tricornatus is a large, extinct protoceratid, endemic to North America ( Nebraska ) during the Late Miocene, 10.3—5.3 Ma, existing for approximately 5 million years. Fossils have been recovered from Nebraska and Texas.
Velociraptor’s first claw on each foot was small, and positioned away from the main foot. The second claw was the key adaptation that enabled Velociraptor to become such an effective hunter. It was an enlarged, sickle-shaped, razor-sharp weapon.
