Human Cord Blood Units (CBU) are a rich source of hematopoietic stem and progenitor cells (HSPCs) and immune cells. They are collected from the umbilical cord vein immediately after birth using a sterile needle and collection bag containing the anticoagulant citrate phosphate double dextrose (CPD). Technical Description
