Bison antiquus, the antique bison or ancient bison, is an extinct species of bison that lived in Late Pleistocene North America until around 10,000 years ago. Bison antiquus was one of the most common herbivores in Late Pleistocene North America.
The Black-Casqued Hornbill is found in the jungles of sub-Saharan Africa. Hornbills are named for their long, curved bills that resemble cow horns, and they are the only birds whose first and second neck vertebrae are fused together.
